It is with great excitement that the New Asia Chamber Music Society (NACMS) invites you to our Second Annual Benefit Gala Dinner and Concert on Friday, October 27, 2017, at The Riverside Church in New York City. The Gala will be a joyous celebration of what NACMS has become in the last seven years and what we hope to become in the years to come. We hope you will join us for an evening of cocktails, dinner and live music featuring NACMS artists.Founded in 2010, NACMS is committed to bringing audiences exceptional performances of the chamber music repertoire, drawn from the canon of western music as well as contemporary Asian culture. We seek to bridge cultural and generational gaps by creating innovative new works in partnership with other performing and visual arts organizations around the world.Your support keeps NACMS at the forefront of the arts and culture scene, and makes it possible to develop new outreach and educational initiatives. In the next five years, NACMS programs will include:

  • Season Performances throughout the year with one concert at Carnegie Hall.
  • Regular House Salon Concerts at various venues including homes and lounges.
  • Educational Outreach Performances such as the NACMS East Meets West series
    which brings classical music to public and private schools in the tri-state area.
  • NACMS International Music Competition showcasing the talents of aspiring young
    musicians on an international stage.
  • NACMS Summer Music Festival presenting a two-week-long series of thematic concerts.
  • Student Workshops providing young musicians the opportunity to interact and learn from
    NACMS artists through programmed workshops on ensemble playing and stage presence.

NACMS artists comprise of world-acclaimed virtuosi, hailing from The Juilliard School, Curtis Institute of Music, The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, as well as top prize winners of such major international competitions as the Queen Elisabeth Competition, Tchaikovsky International Violin Competition and Sendai International Music Competition.
