NACMS Debut Album: Unforgettable Memories

NACMS Debut Album: Unforgettable Memories

20.00

Recorded live and published in 2018, New Asia Chamber Music Society’s debut album Unforgettable Memories is themed around Dvorak’s love for American scenery which inspired him to compose String Quintet No.3. Mozart’s Piano Quartet influenced generations of composers to fashion works for this instrumentation. Likewise, Shih-Hui Chen’s flashback moments - a world-premier work commissioned by NACMS, exhibits memories, inspirations, and thoughts that are unforgettable. Joined by celebrated violist Paul Neubauer, this album features core musicians of NACMS, and supports NACMS’ mission: Bringing audiences exceptional performances of the chamber music repertoire, drawn from the canon of western music as well as contemporary Asian culture.
