In celebration of the Lunar New Year, New Asia Chamber Music Society partners with the Museum of Chinese in America to present Strings of Fortune, a festive evening of classical string music. Blending beloved Chinese folk melodies with works by Asian and Asian American composers, the program weaves tradition and innovation into a vibrant musical tapestry. Artistic Director Andy Lin will shine a spotlight on the erhu, the expressive traditional Chinese string instrument, revealing its remarkable versatility and emotional depth.
