Lucina Yue, Konghou/Guzheng

Lucina Yue is a renowned Konghou performer. She is the first Konghou player to perform at Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and New York Fashion Week. In 2016, the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra invited Lucina world premiere of Fang Dongqing's Konghou concerto "Ice and Fire." Lucina has adapted and world-premiered many new works for the Konghou. In 2020, she released a single album "Earth". In 2021, she received the New York City Artist Grant and performed a konghou and guzheng recital. 2021, Lucina recorded a piece <For Tashi>, this piece is included in the SEAMUS community's musicians' support and voting SEAMUS/EAM2021 Album Vol.30
Starting in September 2022, Lucina Yue started studying the second musical instrument performance major, becoming the first Guzheng graduate student at the Bard College Conservatory of Music US-CHINA Institute, and studying with Professor Zhou Wang. Professor Zhou Wang is a renowned Guzheng performer, educator, and she is a Doctoral advisor at China Central Conservatory of Music. Lucina is Zhou Wang's first direct disciple in New York.
