Yu-Ting Cheng - Clarinet
Hailed for her “extraordinary virtuosity” (CHIMI Arts Award), as well as for her “sublime playing” and “radiant tone” (Pulitzer Prize-winning composer John Corigliano), Taiwanese clarinetist Yu-Ting Cheng has revealed her uncommon musical versatility and earned recognition as a solo artist by winning numerous first prizes in her younger career, including the national music competition Hsing-Tien Kong Young Artist Award, the 2019 Stony Brook Concerto Competition, the 32nd CHIMEI Arts Award and the 5th North International Music Competition. Read full bio.


Andy Lin - Viola
Taiwanese born violist and erhuist (Chinese violin), Wei-Yang Andy Lin, is recognized as one of the most promising and the only active performers who specialized in both western and eastern instruments. Praised by The Strad “The great Molto adagio…..elicited some of the night’s most sensitive work, especially from Wei-Yang Andy Lin on viola.” and New York Times “Taiwanese-born violist Wei-Yang Andy Lin..…is also a virtuoso on the erhu, and he gave a brilliant performance.” Andy is the artistic director and co-founder of the New Asia Chamber Music Society. He holds his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Juilliard School and received his Doctor’s degree in Musical Arts from SUNY Stony Brook. Read full bio.


Ying Li - Piano
23-year-old Chinese pianist Ying Li has performed throughout Asia, Europe, and North America. As a soloist, she has worked with many orchestras, including her most recent debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra in March 2020. As an avid chamber musician, Ying has performed at festivals including Ravinia’s Steans Institute in Chicago, La Jolla Music Society in San Diego, and Verbier Festival Academy in Switzerland. Also a recipient of numerous awards, Ying is the winner of the Artist Series of Sarasota National Piano Competition and the Liszt Competition for Young Pianists in Russia. Currently pursuing a master of music degree at The Juilliard School, Ying holds a bachelor of music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music.
