This April, Between the Bars welcomes Paige Su 蘇珮卿 with a workshop like you’ve never experienced before. Paige Su is a rare singer-songwriter who performs original music while singing and playing the electric harp within a full band setting. A multi-instrumentalist and composer, she is also proficient in piano, flute, Indian bansuri, orchestration, and film scoring.

This March, Between the Bars welcomes Duo YUMENO with a program where East meets West, as the shamisen meets the cello.

Harpist Kristi Shade will walk audiences through the harp’s fascinating mechanics, its role throughout history, and the many colors it can produce, with live demonstrations and performance throughout. Ideal for first-time listeners, curious minds, and anyone looking for a thoughtful, inspiring Sunday afternoon.

Join the Thanksgiving Duo — violinist Wei-Chung (Daniel) Chiang and pianist Lin-En (Lynn) Kuo — along with NACMS musicians for an intimate evening of chamber music. Returning to New York after decades of performing and teaching, the duo presents a program rich in warmth, lyricism, and musical storytelling — a heartfelt celebration of gratitude, artistry, and lifelong partnership.

The acclaimed Duo YUMENO will take a musical journey to reflect on the changing of the seasons with a diverse program including its commissioned works by American and Japanese composers.
